Factors of Urban Poverty in Malaysia

Our nation has been one, historically plagued with poverty, however, in recent years this has greatly improved. While the government has undertaken monumental efforts to attempt to eradicate poverty in Malaysia, our country still continues to suffer from the ills of impoverishment both in urban and rural areas.

Based on our own research, we have outlined some of the factors that contributed to the rise of urban poverty in Malaysia.
