Assassin's Creed Odyssey - Why I Think the Present Day Storyline BELONGS In the Series

A lot of people believe that the present day sequences have no place in the AC series. Without those, I feel like the series would be COMPLETELY different, and wouldn't even be a series...Here's my take, but I also want to know YOURS!
