The Events Before 'The Milkshake Incident' and What The Most Important Piece Was Forgotten

Many, many articles have now been written about "the comics movement" or "the hate movement" or "far right trolls"... and nearly all of them spring from a little thing called The Milkshake Incident. So what WAS the milkshake incident? But more importantly, what was the whole milkshake incident about and why is it so tragic that the origins of it have been forgotten in the rush to war and finger pointing?

(Note: some have pointed out, correctly, that Flo absolutely did like "milkshakes" and the dessert was connected to her. My bigger point was that she got distilled down into "the milkshake woman" which wasn't what she was known for, or the most remembered part of her character.)

This is a look at what was forgotten, why some points aren't worth it, and how a rush to attack each other shoved an amazing part of comic history aside.
