The Dokshing Gumpa, Upper Samdong in Tumin-Lingee, is presently lying in a dilapidated condition.

The Dokshing Gumpa, Upper Samdong in Tumin-Lingee, is presently lying in a dilapidated condition. The monastery was damaged by heavy windstorms in 2015. Since then, the monastery management has been seeking help from the government to restore the monastery. However, no support has been forthcoming. Meanwhile, pujas and prayers are conducted by the monastery at a nearby location. The monastery had been constructed in 1980s.
