The sinkhole in Jalan Maharajalela that swallowed a car yesterday (Sunday) night was caused by a burst pipe. Kuala Lumpur City Hall’s corporate planning department director Khairul Azmir Ahmad revealed this in a statement today.
He said remedial works on the pipe and resurfacing of the road had been done by Syarikat Bekalan Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas) contractors.
