Shocking! Man Sets Fire to Patrol Car Outside Police Station

A man was caught on camera setting fire to a patrol vehicle outside Hawthorne police station in Los Angeles County, California.

The suspect, 24-year-old Hawthorne resident Elmer Maldonado, was arrested without incident.

Police said Mr Maldonado doused the patrol vehicle “with an unknown accelerant and lit it on fire.”

The car, a Ford Explorer Police Interceptor, was completely destroyed.
