In this video Tim discusses how adding crushed limestone to your feed rations can help to prevent urinary calculi in sheep and goats. Please make sure to check the ingredients in your supplements to ensure you are adding pure limestone! We add one pound of limestone to 50 pounds of feed on our farm with good results. We coat our feed in a small amount of molasses prior to the addition of the limestone to ensure it sticks evenly to the feed and cannot be inhaled by the animals.
