The Nigerian Governors' Forum says its members are working hard to meet the December 31 implementation deadline for the N30,000 minimum wage.
According to the governors, they have already subscribed to paying the wage, but the consequential impact on the upper cadre of their various workforce must be renegotiated.
Speaking with journalists in Abuja on Wednesday, December 18 after their meeting, chairman of the forum and Ekiti state governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi said the financial capabilities of the states vary.
