Intrepid Radio - 'Judas: The Thirteenth Called for Dinner' "Judas: The Thirteenth Called for Dinner"

According to the "Gospel of Judas" - a small codex dating to the mid-second century CE - the much maligned character of Judas Iscariot, the disciple who betrayed Jesus, may have a completely different story than what the orthodox church has promulgated for nearly 17 centuries. Was Judas an evil puppet of Satan, or was he, as the gospel states, the closest friend to Jesus, carrying out his master's commands? In the Gospel of Judas, Jesus said of him that he was the only man who actually understood the Mysteries Jesus taught.
