Flu activity in Southern Nevada is more prevalent so far this year than last year, according to Dr. Fermin Leguen, the Acting Chief Health Officer of the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD).
“This year we have seen a larger number of admissions, hospital admissions, because of the flu, than last year," he said. "Unfortunately, we have already three deaths because of the flu. Last year, at this point, we had only one.”
