Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating the robbery of The Jewelry Exchange that occurred Friday in Bethesda. Investigators are releasing surveillance video of the three suspects and are asking for the public’s help in identifying them. On Friday, December 13, at approximately 5:46 p.m., three male suspects entered The Jewelry Exchange located at 7747 Old Georgetown Road. One suspect displayed a handgun and the males demanded jewelry. While two of the suspects obtained the jewelry, the third suspect acted as a lookout at the front door of the business. The suspects stole approximately 100 pieces of jewelry with a total worth of over $60,000.
