Throwback Thursday: In 1991 when the University of Hawaiʻi was trying to remove Kumu Haunani-Kay Trask as the director of Hawaiian Studies, a faculty meeting occurred to discuss the issue. Here's Kumu Lilikalā speaking up in defense of her colleague.
