What You Should Be Practicing Right Now

What You Should Be Practicing Right Now How do you know what you ought to be practicing on the drums? Well that all depends on where you are in your learning. Our goal today is to break this down and show you what “level” you’re on as a drummer so that you know exactly what to practice. Knowing which “phase of learning” you’re in and how to transition to the next one is a big deal. When you know where you stand, you can better set realistic goals. The trick, though, is in continually revisiting each of these phases. Always work the fundamentals. Always strive to stay excited and passionate about your instrument. Always work on playing better with other musicians. It all works hand in hand, and it all comes full circle eventually. If you now know which phase you’re in, dig into some of the videos below. There are lots to choose from for sure, but pick whichever grabs your attention. Enjoy!

By the way - I didn't mention this in the video, but here's a PDF "summation" of everything discussed today. This is literally my outline for making the video, so if you're a visual person...enjoy! This might help "de-complicate" things.
