YOU can make the lives of people in our community a little brighter when you pay your taxes by donating $1, $5, or $10 to Project CARE (Community Assistance Relief Effort). This project supports local nonprofit agencies that serve indigent and homeless residents in need and receive support from the County's Community Assistance Fund. The Community Assistance Board (CAB) administers the fund. Organizations that have received support from CAB in the past include Bridgeway, Connections to Success, Crider Center, Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Service, and Volunteers in Medicine. Donations are tax deductible.
