#StarWars #KathleenKennedy #GameOfThrones In the aftermath of David Benioff and D.B Weiss no longer making Star Wars, a negative spotlight has been shone on Disney and Lucasfilm, and Kathleen Kennedy’s leadership. The revolving door of filmmakers coming and going has reached a point where it can no longer be ignored. Even the media outlets that used to be the most supportive of Disney, Lucasfilm and Kathleen Kennedy, have now started turning on them, openly questioning how this keeps on happening. This is the last thing Disney needs right now, with “Rise of Skywalker” less than two months away.
In this editorial, @AndreEinherjar will begin by going through the highlights of what Benioff and Weiss told a panel at the Austin film festival, and on that note, what the different outlets covering their Star Wars exit are saying about both them and about Kathleen Kennedy, and finally, what the future might hold for both Star Wars and Game of Thrones at this point.
