Yllka Azemi, Assistant Professor of Marketing, has developed marketing strategies to help small businesses identify different types of customers and provide them with personalized service in order to create happy, loyal customers in Gary, Indiana. On September 27, IU Northwest hosted is first ever Celebration of Faculty Research. Faculty members from across the campus presented eight-minute mini-lectures on their research and its effect on the local community and across the state. The event was part of Indiana University's statewide 200 Festival, the kick-off celebration of the IU Bicentennial.
