Simple Bench Press Mistake MOST people forget (Avoid doing this) Hey guys in this bench press tutorial video I cover a simple mistake most people make when they start to get heavy. The main issue I see is that when weight starts to get heavy people just end up slamming the bar down on their chest. Instead you want to control it down eccentrically while keeping a tight set up. This will make the bar path a lot better, and could potentially be keeping you from hitting a PR. This is just a simple tip for form on the bench press, and overall I think this is the right way to bench press for maximum strength.
