Police in Mpumalanga have rescued 50 suspected sex workers from different houses in eMalahleni. The women claim to have been kept against their will in the houses.
A joint police operation raided houses suspected of being used for criminal activities that include prostitution and drugs.
About 150 people were taken in for questioning.
