Making TTPost Self Sufficient

Minister of Public Utilities, Robert Le Hunte says the ministry is looking at innovative ways to increase revenue for the Trinidad and Tobago Postal Corporation (TTPost).

He was questioned by MP for Caroni East, Dr.Tim Gopeesingh on the corporation's ability to be self-sufficient, during today's sitting of the Standing Finance Committee of the House of Representatives.

TTPost received a subvention of 70 million dollars.

The Minister said apart from courier services, they're also looking at other viable business options to lessen the current subvention.
