Hey guys! This is day 4 of my 12 Days of Christmas tutorial series. I will be posting one Christmas tutorial every Friday for 12 weeks. Today we will make this large merlot snowflake. You can find links for Day 1 - 3 (also seen here) in the description along with written instructions for this tutorial. Let’s get started.

Cut 14 pieces of rope, each piece is 2 feet long. Fold each piece in half and attach to your ring using Cow Hitch Knots (which is the reverse of a Lark’s Head knot).

Working your way around your ring tie 7 square knots.

Tie one alternating square knot. We will now tie 2 more square knots with picots. To do this, tie another square knot 1.25 inches down from the last square knot and push it up against the previous square knot. Tie another square knot 0.5 inches down from the last square knot and push it up.

Cut the ends to they are about 1 inch long.

Repeat this process all the way around your ring.

Thanks so much for watching!
