WORCESTER PARK FIRE: Were Warnings Ignored? In the early hours of Monday 9 September, flames engulfed a block of flats in South West London. It took firefighters hours to get it under control, and destroyed 23 homes of a number of families in just minutes.

Sheila Majid used to live on The Hamptons estate in Worcester Park. For years, she warned the developer - St James - about the risk of the timber construction and poor fire regulations. Fire safety experts tell us - once again - it shows more protection is needed. Rags Martel has our report.
