Sometimes the "mother of mothers" decides to take the bait. I typically catch eater size catfish free-lining raw chicken below Chickamauga Dam. But every now and then a BIG one will take it. Locals Matt and Grant wanted a mixed a bag for this trip. We caught drum, smallmouth, channels, and blues. Grant had the magic touch with the catfish. He battled a big post spawn catfish for nearly 30 minutes and "got 'er done." I love catching catfish on standard spinning gear. It never gets old. #chattcats #sceniccityfishing #bigcatfish
