I pondered a great deal before purchasing this fireplace heater. Some of the reviews gave me concern, such as the controls were hard to see, fan was loud, etc. But....I am SO glad I listened to those who had all positive statements. Controls are lit digitally so are not hard to see...just open the door & they are controlled by the remote. It is absolutely perfect!!! It is so quiet that I don't even have to turn up the TV ... and it is right beside my chair. The heat comes out just below the lip on the top....not the bottom as stated by some.
The top still remains cool-ish so not a hazard to touch. Legs may be plastic, but if so...they are really stout & probably better for my linoleum floor than metal would be. I am totally thrilled with my new purchase!
