My injury at sea, how we dealt with it and what we learned from it. #47

First off, thank you all for the messages of support that we have received since we got back from our sail!

Last week, Ryan and I were crossing the Mediterranean Sea between Malta and Almerimar. On the 6th day of our passage, I got injured (not the nice kind of injury) while making coffee.

This video is about how I got a 2nd degree burn bigger than the size of my hand while a day away from shore, how we took care of it when it happened, and how it impacted the rest of our sail.

I share the lessons I learned from that incident, and what we will do differently in the future.

Ultimately, I’m all good if only a little bummed out about the scar I’m going to get out of the ordeal.
