Outrage erupted across the United Kingdom after Queen Elizabeth approved British Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s request to suspend parliament on August 28, 2019. The suspension will begin in the second week of September and reopen on Monday, October 14 - just over two weeks before Brexit.
