We’ve Waited A Long Time For This

I see my parents for the first time in months. Their reaction is priceless. I break the rust on the piano. If you can’t name the two songs throughout the video I’d be mega shocked. My parents take us on a few home tours of some of the beautiful homes they’re building. One of them will be showcased in the 2020 Parade of Homes in Park City, UT. My dad does his usual Papa Chatwin antics. How did I get blessed with these parents? We throw on our swimsuits and head to a pool party at an exquisite home belonging to one of our friends. I sneak around the house and find one of my favorite toys. This would be the first time in nine years I’ve had a typical summer pool day on a weekday. My job takes me away from home every summer. Let’s say I took advantage. We rush from the pool to my twin brother’s house to give his triplet’s a baby blessing which I got to be a part of. What joy those babies bring to all of us. This reunion with family this week was much needed and couldn’t have been better. Family is everything!
