I wish I was in the room while the other Chiropodist (Matt) performed a conservative ingrown toenail treatment so I could have filmed it, but he did an amazing job.
Due to his age, no surgical treatment was an option, so the only treatment possible was trimming out the ingrown toenail and hopefully create a smooth nail edge to allow the nail to grow normally without cutting into the skin.
So far treatment seems to be working! Let's all hope this little toe doesn't have any more foot problems!
