[Red Hot + Rhapsody] Finley Quaye 'It Ain't Necessarily So'

[Red Hot + Rhapsody] Finley Quaye 'It Ain't Necessarily So' Due to the reputation of Red Hot + Blue and its stellar reinterpretations of classic Cole Porter songs, Red Hot was approached by the Gershwin estate to do a similar tribute to George and Ira. This seems like a logical way for Red Hot to return to its ‘roots’ after many albums dealing with communities of color and throughout the world. Not to mention the music was among the greatest ever composed in 20th century America. The album also continued Red Hot’s tradition of legendary collaborations such as Bobby Womack and The Roots doing “Summertime” and David Bowie and Angelo Badalamenti doing “A Foggy Day in London Town.”
