Pyra and Nimbus decide to leave the dangerous valley floor and head back to the upper slopes, but fear encountering Tempest again. They decide to settle down in a clearing in the woods some ways away from the larger open plains, but soon find they must face off against the bears that have been plaguing them. Pyralis of the Elements Pack has finally left her siblings, venturing out on her own for the first time as she sets out into the new world of WolfQuest's Anniversary Edition to face her future. But the world around her is harsh and hostile, threatening to extinguish even the brightest lights. If she is to survive, Pyra must find the strength to rise up and overcome-- or watch her pack go down in flames.
