Text: Isa 1:3-5
I. Consider Collaterally- Exod 33:13
Look at this nation as your sons and daughters. Israel reflects God to the world.
“in thine heart” the motivation for action should be God is the supreme judge now and later.
II. Consider Completely- Lev 13:13
Compare one area to the rest of the man.
Receive instruction to chart a course to a destination.
Man doesn’t know “fair or unfair” until he sees it from God’s side.
III. Consider God’s Contingency- 1Sam 12:24
Consider the power of God as a motivation to “fear and serve” him.
(Rom 11:22 goodness and severity of God
Ps 50:22 Now consider this, ye that forget God)
IV. Consider Your Click- 1Sam 25:17-18
Allegiance should be with God and his army, not his enemies; they won’t be around long.
V. Consider your Accountability- 2Kgs 5:7
A request for the impossible is a cry to meet God.
VI. Consider your Classification- Ps 8:3-4
VII. Consider the Cause- Isa 57:1
VIII. A Certain Consideration- Jer 23:20
