How This London Black Cab Could Change The World...Literally

How This London Black Cab Could Change The World...Literally Taxis are a common sight in the world's major cities. In New York City, they're the famous Yellow cabs. In London, it's the Black Hackney Carriage.

While they're a great way to get around cities, they're not all that fuel efficient. In fact, in one recent study, it was found that black cabs emit up to thirty times the NOx of a similar-aged petrol car.

It's no wonder then that cities like London are putting a lot of pressure on taxi drivers to switch to cleaner alternatives. the LEVC TX eCity is one such alternative, and it's just celebrated its 2,500th vehicle production milestone. It may be a range-extended plug-in hybrid, but we think it's a car that could literally change our modern cities today!
