Buses stopping along EDSA to pay their loan sharks..

For those outside of the Philippines who haven't heard of a '5-6 loan' it's a common and informal loan with a 20% interest rate.

If you borrow 5 Peso, you pay back 6. Borrow 500 and you pay back 600.

These loans are quite popular because the "requirements" are typically very minimal which makes them more accessible to those in need.

It turns out some 5-6 lenders have turned EDSA sidewalks into their office and buses are stopping by every day to make payments! Obviously not good for a high volume highway.

This man is not the only one, there are others and they've been given the same warning.
