Crocodiles on roads in Vadodara during flood Majority of areas of Central Gujarat city Vadodara also popularly known as Baroda are flooding in knee to waist deep water on an average due to release of water from Ajwa reservoir and rise in water level in river Vishwamitri which flows through the city.

One of the problems being faced in this situation is related to crocodiles. As the river is overflowing and flooding the streets, number of crocodiles have possibly entered into the city.

At least two video clips of such crocodiles venturing into the city are viral on social media. In one of two clips, a crocodile can be seen in company of two stray street dogs.

When asked about this to Chief Minister Vijay Rupani during his briefing today afternoon, he said two to three crocodiles are found venturing into the streets of the city and state forest department teams are working on it.
