Beginning a UFO from a Sphere - Blender 2.8 Quick example of how a basic UFO shape can be created from a sphere.

Late in the video I applied a subsurf modifier to round everything. While modeling I had been thinking ahead by doing an extra extrusion anywhere I wanted a sharp edge (mainly I used this trick on the bottom). The main take away is that the closer edges are together the sharper their combined edge will be after applying a subsurf modifier.
