A runaway on a highway
Heading south on I-65
I got my van stocked up
And my mind made up
On how I wanna be remembered when I die

For the last three years
With a little help from my friends
But it’s time I set out
Look up past the clouds

Who all claim to be headstrong

And a five piece band
And a bark they call their own
Many have come
Many have gone
Many today are well known
I just wanna be one of the many
With a badass Headstone

Now I ain’t looking to impress
Anybody when I’m dead
Believe me that’s how I am
But a few poetic words
Be chiseled and be heard
Would make me a peaceful resting man

A vagabond dreamer
A rhymer and a singer
Waylon was beloved by the world
And Johnny’s gotta Psalm
Which he depended on
And he’s buried right beside his girl
