Making a Simple Leather Pouch Bag

Leather pouch bags are a very simple project to make that can be used for a lot of things! They're great for everyday use, or to use for trips and festivals and travel. We made this simple leather pouch bag from our sponsor Weaver's new Santa Rosa pull up leather, and we absolutely love how it is soft enough to flip right-side-out while still being firm enough to hold it's shape nicely. It's beautiful leather!

This bag is saddle stitched with waxed nylon thread, and has lots of copper rivets and hardware. We designed a simple leather closure with a snap that allows the bag to expand while still snapping closed. Happy crafting!
