Hightened Chinese Activitiy Along Line of Actual Control (LAC) In Fukche (Demchok) Area In Ladakh! Shailesh Kumar, National Defence

Post Doklam, China has hightened the construction activities along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Fukche -Dumchale area (Demchok) in Ladakh. Hundreds of road construction equipment and vehicles like, crawler excavator, JCB machine, motor grader, forklifter, dumper trucks, mobile cranes, loaders etc can be seen in this video. Indian Army says that the construction is being done across LAC in Chinese held areas. The construction activity is not new and is under observation. There are robust border mechanism to resolve issues, should they emerge. The Indian Army further says that similar construction is under progress in our area as well. Sources tell National Defence that post Doklam, Chinese have started making permanent defences along LAC. In any case, India needs to be watchful of Chinese activities. National Defence has highlighted the issue in National interests and learnt that agencies are keeping a strict vigil along LAC. Jaihind!
