Dead Elm Harvest for Future Rustic Log Build ~ Every cool project must begin somewhere… and this one will turn into a rustic covered pergola type structure, but first we need to harvest some wood. A good friend Jed had a bunch of dead elm trees in his wood. For the most part they are pretty straight, so they’ll make pieces for the project. It’s always a pleasure to get the Stihl chainsaws out and cutting. And easy to get out of the woods, especially with his three-wheeler setup.
