Indication and Dosage of Voglibose: Voglibose is used for the treatment of type-II diabetes mellitus or in other words voglibose is used for the treatment of high blood sugar level means it helps in lowering the elevated blood sugar level.
In Adult patient 200-300 microgram (mcg) or 0.2 mg of voglibose is administered three times a day immediately before each meal. While in Elderly it’s recommended to initiate at a lower dose.

#Contraindication: voglibose has been contraindicated under the conditions that are listed below:
Inflammatory bowel disease, GI obstruction, Diabetic coma or pre-coma, Sever infection, Hypersensitivity, Pregnancy lactation, Not to be used as monotherapy in Insulin-dependent Diabetes Mellitus.
#Special precaution should be taken while administering voglibose to a patient suffering from any of the given medical conditions:
History of laparotomy or ileus, Roemheld syndrome, Stenosis, Sever hepatic or renal impairment.
#Interaction of voglibose: Voglibose may interact and enhance the effect of other antidiabetics including insulin.

Flatulence, Pain, Hypoglycemia, Abdominal distension, Diarrhea, Skin rash, Hepatotoxicity, Increased Liver function test.
