The station has a technical problem (and the replicator can’t fix it), so O’Brien, Garak, Nog, and some glorified extras head over to Empok Nor, another abandoned Cardassian space station, to recover some equipment. Once there, they discover some augmented Cardassian soldiers who are particularly unfriendly and Garak takes a turn for the worse.



It’s a Bryan Fuller idea, so that means dark and twisted – and not just the lighting on the set! “Empok Nor” is essentially a slasher film with a Star Trek backbone, and that ends up with a result that some would consider to be middling.



Wes and Clay discuss episodes that need to be remastered, up and down in space, and O’Brien’s forgettable backstory!
