Catching bugs with Adley then surprise Princess Moana Toys for the Luau!! JOIN THE FAM ---
Best Luau Day Ever 965
Bugs, lizards, pet snails, birds even, it doesn't matter what it is catching them in Hawaii is one of Adley's favorite things to do. she has so much fun making little homes for them and pretend playing house. Bug catching has to be her most favorite thing other than swimming, which has become a daily routine at this point!
Today, we have a surprises for her, but mom hid it somewhere in our new Hawaii house. So Adley has to play hide n seek to find it. Looking in bedrooms, in the microwave, and eventually finding it in the washing machine! You know its going to be good when the bag says Disney on the side!! Adley pulls out a brand new Princess Moana costume and a barbie doll to match. She's so excited, she can't wait to try it on. We got it for her because tonight we are going an official Luau! It's a first for all of us and we are super excited!!
We all get our best Luau clothes on and jump in the car, where Adley pretend play Moana scenes for us as a pre- luau entertainment. We get to the beach and its instantly family fun. We get lais necklace and the girls learn a traditional dance. Jenny and Adley check out the barbecue pig being cooked for dinner, and Adley play's with some Hawaiian musical instruments. The best is when she learns that putting a shell to your ear sounds like the ocean, it becomes a new game for her.
It's then dinner time and Adley freaks out in a good way when she sees fresh watermelon. Got to get those muscles strong for big foot ;). She also discovers a secret door in that leads to crystals!! ok, its really just a door that is used as a food prep area and the crystals are really ice, but it's more fun to play!! The food is delicious, the sunset over the beach is amazing, and we end this with some family dancing. Best Day Ever stuff right there!
