- What is osu?
osu! is a freeware rhythm game developed by Dean "peppy" Herbert, originally for Microsoft Windows. The player chooses a song and difficulty and as the song plays the player has to click on different Beats hit-elements (hit circles, sliders, and spinners) in time with the rhythm of the song in order to earn points.
