5 Benefits of Being an Introvert (Dear introvert, you don’t need to be fixed)

5 Benefits of Being an Introvert (Dear introvert, you don’t need to be fixed) The benefits of being an introvert can sometimes be overlooked. Especially if the world looks at introverts with a negative frame of mind.

In this video, I share 5 benefits of being an introvert in 2019.

1. We have the ability to be “laser like focused” on working towards our dreams. As we tend to spend a lot of time alone, we can direct all our energy towards what we are passionate about in life. Pablo Picasso said “without great solitude, no serious work is possible”.

2. The second benefit of being an introvert is the fact that we have to deal with less people in our life. Less people means less drama and stress. According to Sigmund Freud, there are 3 major causes of suffering in this world. First, is the decay of our body (getting old). Secondly, is natural disasters like hurricanes and tornados. Thirdly, is people (betrayal, cheating etc.).

3. Our third great advantage of being an introvert is our observing skills. We observe the smallest of details – facial expressions, body language and a general vibe of a specific room. This ability of us enables us to learn new skills on a daily basis.

4. The forth great advantage of being an introvert is the fact that we are very good listeners. The great thing about being good listeners is that we generally make very good lovers and friends. We tend to form deep lasting relationships with the people we do have in our life.

5. The fifth benefit of being an introvert is that we get to travel on our own. We don’t need friends or family to join us in order to experience new cultures, people or experiences. Traveling as an introvert will enable you to deepen your process of thinking “deep thoughts”.
