The show has grown substantially in popularity over the past few years. Many people just can’t get enough of the reality dating show showcasing one man or woman’s journey to find true love amongst 25 contestants. Even though the show holds a special place in many people’s hearts, there are some individuals who just can’t stand the sight of it. Just like every other reality show, The Bachelor/ The Bachelorette has its fair share of people who dislike certain aspects, but there are a large number of individuals who just despise the show in general. As many fans of the show already know, The Bachelor/ The Bachelorette is a reality dating show that involves a young, unmarried man or woman who is given the opportunity to find true love. The bachelor or bachelorette is able to narrow down contestants based on who they think is the right one to spend the rest of their lives with. During each episode, the bachelor or bachelorette interacts with each contestant and presents a rose to anyone he/she wants to remain in the competition. Though the concept is appealing to its extremely large fan base, it is not so eye-catching to most. There are some individuals who refuse to watch the reality competition strictly because of its false representation of modern society dating. The Bachelor/ The Bachelorette makes it seem as though it is perfectly okay to be involved with multiple people at one time. Even though this is a reality competition and showcasing one person dating 25 people at one time is part of the game, many people think that this is now being seen as normal, which is not right.
