Studio mastermind Stimming is Telekom Electronic Beats TV’s inhouse reviewer, and on this episode, he gets to grips with that Arturia MicroFreak, an experimental hybrid synth. Though priced at a very comfortable €299, it’s not just for beginners – combining a wavetable, digital oscillators with analog filters and a poly-aftertouch flat keyboard with controlled randomness to sequences, Arturia seeks to pull in musicians at any level – as long as they’re ready to get, well, freaky.
