Dr. Ann Marie Murphy joined the School of Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University in 2004. Prior to joining the School of Diplomacy and International Relations, she taught at Columbia University and Barnard College. Concurrent with her appointment at the School of Diplomacy and International Relations, Dr. Murphy is a Senior Research Scholar at the Weatherhead East Asian Institute, Columbia University. At Columbia, Dr. Murphy chairs the University Seminar on Contemporary Southeast Asia. She has also been a visiting scholar at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, Jakarta, Indonesia, and the Institute for Security and International Studies, Bangkok, Thailand.
Adam Schwarz is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Asia Group Advisors, where he counsels senior executives on business opportunities in key Southeast Asian markets and how to effectively manage political, economic, and security risks. Based in Southeast Asia since 1987, Mr. Schwarz has a deep set of relationships with business, political and civil-society leaders across the region and is considered a leading global authority on Indonesia.
