Not playing often enough? Here's my main tip for improvement!

The saying "out of sight, out of mind" applies to any habit we're trying to learn. It especially applies to learning an instrument like the accordion.

Your instrument should be ready to play at a moment's notice. Take it out of its case. Leave the straps undone. Put it in a highly visible place where you're likely to play it.

Do the same for your other instruments. Plug-in your electric guitar to headphones or your amp. Open up the cover to the piano. Take the guitar out of its case and put it by your bed. The possibilities are endless!
