How To Easily Fix a Chipped Blade on a Coarse Fixer Stone

How To Easily Fix a Chipped Blade on a Coarse Fixer Stone The tip of my kitchen knife was badly broken, here's how I fixed the chipped knife using the Coarse KNIFEPLANET Fixer Stone.

- Take the Black fixing stone and soak it in water for a couple of minutes

- Apply Heavy pressure at a really High angle so to re-shape the damaged blade

- Don't be scared to apply pressure! Metal is hard and you need to re shape it, you must apply heavier pressure than regular sharpening pressure

- Once satisfied, proceed to softer stones (grit 400; 1000+) to sharpen the knife.

- The KEY here is to keep a High angle until the tip of the blade is fixed.

The KNIFEPLANET Flattening/Fixer Stone will help you keep your Stones -and your blades- in good shape :)
