Germany draws closer to Russia despite US sanctions

The expansion of the Nordstream pipeline in Europe and construction of Nordstream II are on schedule despite US pressure. As Germany draws economically closer to Russia, will it run increasingly afoul of NATO allies and the US? Former US diplomat Jim Jatras joins Steve Malzberg (in for Rick Sanchez) to weigh in. He argues that German Chancellor Merkel is “very weak” and has been “pushed both ways.”
